PURPOSE:To use single constituent toner and reduce a device in size, and to facilitate adjustments by impressing a voltage between a dielectric roller and a moving body, flying toner sticking electrostatically on the roll to the moving body, and developing an electrostatic latent image. CONSTITUTION:A minus corona voltage from a high-voltage power source 3 is impressed to an electrifier 2 to charge electrostatically the entire surface of zinc oxide 1b on the moving body. A pattern light image is projected by an optical part 4 on the zinc oxide 1b to form a latent image. A high-voltage power source 9 impress a plus voltage to the side of the dielectric roller 7 between the dielectric roller 7, and electrode 8 and moving body 1 simultaneously to polarize the dielectric material 7b of the dielectric roller 7, sticking conductive toner 5 electrostatically. The stuck toner 5 flies to the moving body 1 where the dielectric roller 7 rotates and faces the moving body 1 to stick to the electrostatic latent image. |
