What is proposed is a strap hinge with tumbler, which, by virtue of its design, can be employed on furniture or furniture frames for the purpose of the articulation of cupboard doors, especially frameless all-glass doors, both on the left and on the right and at the top or at the bottom in an equally simple way. The tumbler is formed by a detent element which consists of a spring bar and of a pressure roller mounted on this and which is arranged between the supporting arms of the frame strap. In the closing position, the pressure roller engages behind a leg of a door strap and thus keeps the cupboard door closed. It can be opened only when a specific force is exerted on the cupboard door.
