The fact taken as the basis is that until now there has not been a cooled tennis racket, table-tennis bat or badminton racket. The state of the art is currently that the handles of the individual rackets or bats are indeed wrapped in various materials. However, practice shows that this cannot prevent these materials becoming moistened to a greater or lesser extent during use of the rackets or bats, so in turn there is no firm and sustainable gripping or holding of a racket or bat. Players are always complaining that the handle of the racket or bat is not optimum. The present patent accomplishes, however, that a - the handle of the racket or bat is cooled specifically to the body heat of the person, b - subsequently the handle of the racket or bat rests firmly in the player's hand. The cooling can be adjusted specifically to the respective body heat of the player by means of a corresponding bore. The winding-insulation arranged on the handle can also be used, by deciding on a material which is pleasant and to the liking of the player. This handle cooling presented here has the effect of preventing heavy perspiring of the palm of the hand and ensuring that a firm gripping of the handle, conducive to play, is always ensured in every situation.
