DC-voltage-supplied AC-voltage generator

The external connections (a, b) of two series-connected primary windings (1', 1'') of a transformer (2) on whose secondary winding the output AC voltage can be picked off are in each case connected to the one connection of a low-resistance DC-voltage source (4', 4'') whose voltage level is supplied corresponding to the AC voltage of AC voltage oscillators. The other connection of each of the low-resistance voltage sources (4', 4'') is connected to the one pole of a further DC voltage source (6) whose other pole is connected to the centre point (5) between the primary windings (1', 1''). The AC voltage generator constructed in this way is distinguished in comparison with conventional circuits of this type in that it does not require any filter circuits or electromagnetic circuits to improve its waveform. It is suitable for any desired load impedances and any desired predetermined wave forms of the output AC voltage. <IMAGE>
