PURPOSE:To set a small track width by joining a thin plate of a non-magnetic material to the side face of a substrate covered with a thin film of a high magnetic permeability magnetic material, forming a groove part at a prescribed pitch from on the thin plate, and thereafter, butting and joining said plate to the side face of a substrate on which a winding groove is formed, and cutting it. CONSTITUTION:A butted surface of a ferrite substrate 1 is finished to a plane and covered with a thin film 3 of a high magnetic permeability magnetic material. Subsequently, a reinforcing thin plate 12 of a non-magnetic material is joined onto the thin plate 3. Next, a groove part 4 is formed by a prescribed number by a machine work at intervals of a prescribed dimension Tw along one side edge in the longitudinal direction from on the thin plate 12. On the other hand, a winding groove 7 is formed on a non-magnetic material substrate 5, and a butted surface 6 is finished to a plane. Subsequently, the surface 6 and the upper face of the thin plate 12 are joined, by which a block 8' is obtained, and it is cut by a face which passes through the center of the groove part 4 and is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the block 8', and thereafter, a magnetic core simplex 10' is obtained by packing the groove parts 4, 4 with a packing material 9. Next, a magnetic core is completed by winding a magnet wire 11 round a substrate part 1' of the simplex 10' through a groove 7. In this way, a very small track width can be set. |
