PURPOSE:A novel polysilsesquioxane useful as a carcinostatic agent, containing a specific structural unit. CONSTITUTION:The desired polysilsesquioxane having a structural unit shown by the formula I . It can be prepared by condensing a gamma-aminopropylpolysilsesquioxane shown by the formula II with a dihydroxybenzaldehyde shown by the formula III through dehydration. Preferably 500-0.01mg/kg/day of it is applied (parenterally) orally to the affected part.
