HEAT RESPONSIVE DEVICE EMPLOYING SHAPE MEMORY SPRING

摘要

PURPOSE:To vary initial flexure of shape memory spring freely by contacting a cam against the lower end of spring of heat responsive device comprising a shape memory spring and a load applying member. CONSTITUTION:A weight 2 or a load applying member for applying constant load is mounted on a shape memory spring 1 while a stopper 3 is provided to prevent weight 2 from lowering downward of predetermined position. A cam 4 is provided below the spring 1 and the initial flexure of said spring 1 can be varied by varying the rotary position of cam 4. Consequently the operating sroke and output energy can be increased when compared with conventional bimetal to enable application to an actuator.
