PURPOSE:To improve the heating effect of a space heater and also to improve the impressive effect thereof at a shop front by a method wherein the case of an oil stove, letters or designs are painted on the surface of a transparent material forming a flame cylinder and the material is sintered after it is covered with a metal or a metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:The flame cylinder 1 and the window frame 2 of a heater are made of ceramics or glass. Then letters or designs 3 are painted on the surface of a flame cylinder 1 or window flame 2 and the painted surface is coated with a film of a metal or a metal oxide such as tin. With the above structue, in case where the thermic rays or optical rays generating from the flame pass through the transparent material, the light reflected from the metallic film 4 and the light reflected from the surface of the glass interfere with each other so that specific wavelengths of lights are weakened or intensified to generate a plurality of reflecting images. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the beauty and the heating effect of the heater. |
