PURPOSE:The titled composition for coating cars, etc., having nonflammability, improved storage stability, providing a beautiful and strong film, obtained by blending an alkyd resin at a specific pH, etc. with trichloromonofluoroethane, a solvent having a specific flash point, and a cellulose derivative in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. one or more alkyd resins or acrylic resins at 4-8 pH is blended with (B) 25-130pts.wt. trichloromonofluoroethane, (C) 20-200 pts.wt. solvent (e.g., methanol, etc.) having >=20 deg.C flash point, and (D) >=1pt.wt. cellulose derivative (e.g., nitrosellulose, etc.), to give the desired composition. EFFECT:Having improvedacid resistance of film, not causing rust in an aerosol container. USE:For coating bicycles, motorcycles, production machines, etc.
