PURPOSE:To reduce the influence to the concn. of a conc. cake due to the dynamic change of a filtrate discharge water head caused by the variation of a slurry supply amount, by developing throttling effect to a cake discharge water head by increasing a number of blade lines of the dip weir and the cake discharge port in a bowl. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal separator separates the slurry thrown to the inner surface of a bowl 1 through a slurry supply port 16 provided to a slurry supply pipe 3 and a screw 2 into a filtrate and a cake by centrifugal force to remove the same. In this case, in addition to the conventional blade 13 of the dip weir 15 and the cake discharge port 12 in the bowl 1, for example, three blades 13', 13'', 13''' are added to provide four blades as the sum total. As a result, the throttling effect to a cake discharge waterhead is more developed.
