PURPOSE:To obtain a titled member which is press welded with a slight clad metal in a spot shape by printing a release agent on the surface of a base metal except the part to be press welded with the clad metal, drying the coated agent, superposing both metallic materials and passing the materials through rolling rolls. CONSTITUTION:A release agent 6 composed of alumina, quartz powder, etc. is printed on one surface of a base metal 1, which is, for example, an Fe-Ni alloy having about 1.5mm. thickness, except the part to be press welded with a clad metal 2, which is pure Al, having about <=20mu thickness, by leaving said part white. The coated release agent is then dried. The metal 2 is superposed on the printed surface of the metal 1 and the superposed metals are passed through rolling rolls 4, 5 to form the press welded part 2' of the metal 2 on the un- printed surface of the metal 1 and the non-press-welded part 2'' of the metal 2 on the printed surface. The part 2'' is naturally cut by shearing force from the boundary line with the part 2'. The partially clad material press welded with the spot-shaped metal is thus continuously obtd. by the simple stage. |
