PURPOSE:To position and support a coil automatically by connecting drum shafts and centering segments to form a parallelogram linking device and setting large shifting stroke in the radial direction of the centering segments. CONSTITUTION:A pair of drum shafts 15 are provided on a stand 12 to allow free moving back and forth in the direction parallel to the axes, and centering segments 17 are connected to drum shafts 15 through a parallelogram link arm 19 provided with a pin 18 perpendicular to the direction of reciprocation of the drum shafts 15. Flange parts 21 that contact the side edge of the coil 11 are formed in the centering segments 17, and a tension spring 20 that pulls the centering segments 17 into the inside in the radial direction of drum shafts 15 is interposed between centering segments 17 and drum shafts 15. |
