PURPOSE:To improve the affinity between magnetic powder and an electron ray curable binder and to improve durability and wear resistance by using the magnetic powder which is subjected to a surface treatment by an electron ray curable resin having a hydroxyl group and/or carboxyl group and having an acryl group. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder subjected to a surface treatment, an electron ray curable binder and other additives are dispersed in a solvent such as acetone, toluene, methyl ethyl ketone, cyclohexanone or the like to prepare a magnetic coating. Said coating is applied on a nonmagnetic base such as a plastic film, synthetic paper or the like by a coating means such as a doctor blade, wire bar or the like to 2-10mu final film thickness. After the coating is heated and dried, an electron ray is irradiated to the coated film surface to cure the electron ray curable binder therein. |
