Composite moulded shuttle

A composite moulding, e.g. for making shuttles, is produced from a thermoplastic inner part and a thermosetting outer part and a phenolic resin in partic. An adhesive layer lies between the two polymers, the combination is pressed and cured hot. The inner part is injection moulded, the adhesive is uncured phenolic or phenolic-treated material, and the complete assembly of materials is cured together.
