PURPOSE:An apparatus, consisting of a web stripping roll and a receiving and delivery roll covered with metal card clothings having the respective teeth of specific working angles, rotating a doffer and the rolls at a specific surface speed ratio, and capable of stripping a web with certainty even under bad spinning environment. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus, consisting of a web stripping roll 3 covered with a metal card clothing 2 having 25-60 deg. working angle (alpha) of teeth 1 arranged in the vicinity of a doffer 4 covered with a metal card clothing 41 having 45-65 deg. working angle of teeth at 0.1-0.5mm. interval (C1) therefrom and a web receiving and delivery roll 7 covered with a metal card clothing 6 having 25-60 deg. working angle (alpha) of teeth 5 at or below the center of the web stripping roll 3 and within the radius thereof at 0.1-0.8mm. interval (C2) from the web stripping roll 3. The surface speed ratio between the doffer 4 and the web stripping roll 3 is 1:(1.02-2.0), and the surface speed ratio between the web stripping roll 3 and the web receiving and delivery roll 7 is 1:(1.02-1.5).
