A building panel made of wood consists of squared timber or boards which are each glued to one another in the manner of a glued wood construction, with two opposite longitudinal faces, preferably the larger-area longitudinal faces, in one plane. The building panel is statically loadable and can form, with its outer faces, directly the surfaces of the inner walls of a building. The building panels can be prefabricated, easily transported and assembled without difficulty, in particular using their statically loadable properties, to form a complete house. <IMAGE>
