PURPOSE:To make a titled device small and high in operability by including attachable and detachable read only memories (ROM) in a device that stores vaious welding conditions as data. CONSTITUTION:Plural ROM containing various welding conditions are mounted to the mounting section 36 of this automatic welding controlling device 24. ROM is selected by a memory unit selecting section 38 to complete preparation for starting welding. When welding, a controlling section 32 takes out welding condition from ROM selected by an operating section 38, and operates a value conforming to a welding power source 28 and an automatic arc welding device 26 and outputs the value. Thus, by taking out welding condition set beforehand according to the form of welding and instructing the welding to the device 26 through the controlling section 32, it becomes unnecessary to make manual setting of welding condition on each welding and automatic arc welding becomes possible. |
