The description is substantially identical to that of Patent Specification GB 2081474A but the claims are directed to an airspeed hold autopilot system for a helicopter having a cyclic pitch control stick with forward and aft beeper switches to enable the pilot to nudge the autopilot output, the signals from the beeper switches being effective on the airspeed reference signal or the attitude reference signal according to whether the helicopter is at cruise speeds or sub-cruise speeds.
