PURPOSE:To perform brazing treatment with reliability by brazing plated constituting parts to form a product, and subjecting the product to a treatment for dissolving and stripping only the plating metal thereby removing the plating metal on the part except the brazed part. CONSTITUTION:Spectacle frame parts formed of titanium are electrolytically degreased and are pickled with hydrochloric acid and thereafter the surfaces of the respective parts are subjected to ion plating of nickel under vacuum to form a nickel layer. The prescribed points of the parts are brazed by using an ordinary brazing material, by which a spectacle frame is assembled. Such spectacle frame is treated with a stripping agent for plating to strip the nickel plating layer in the part except the brazed part. Palladium is further ion plated over the entire surface of the spectacle frame under vacuum to form a palladium plating layer thereon, by which a final product is obtd. |
