PURPOSE:To obtain the titled system, through which preparatory works before starting printing and manual works on the exchange of printing plates are reduced and energy is conserved, by supplying and disusing the printing plate by a carrier mechanism and mounting or demounting the printing plate by a detachable mechanism and a plate clamping mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Printing plates 1 being carried by a plate supply conveyor 2 from a plate making chamber are shifted on predetermined branch conveyors 3 at every destination and carried up to prescribed positions, and advanced up to predetermined positions for plate fitting operation by a manipulator 4, and the printing plates are loaded on plate cylinders 5. The plate cylinders 5 on which the printing plates are loaded are turned automatically while the printing plates 1 are clamped and mounted to the plate cylinders 5 by an automatic plate clamping mechanism 7. When removing the plates, the printing plates 1 removed from the surfaces of the plate cylinders are gripped by the manipulator 4 and loaded on the branch conveyors 3, and transported to the plate discarding conveyor 8 side and transferred to a plate discarding depository. |
