PURPOSE:To reproduce an intermediate tone in an excellent way without losing the sharpness of a character or the like by storing a character picture data and an intermediate tone picture data to respective buffer memories different with each other. CONSTITUTION:A character code train signal as a character picture data 101 and an R, G, B color identification signal 104 and a picture signal 105 attended with vertical and horizontal synchronizing signals 106V, 106H as a color picture data are supplied externally to a picture processor. One screen's share of the character picture data 101 is stored in a character code buffer 10. Then, an intermediate tone picture is constituted by the said signals 104, 106V, 106H and 105. Each color picture is stored respectively to image buffer memories 28-1-28-3 at each color depending on the signal 104. The signals 106V and 106H are applied to an address generator 32 for storage and a required address is given to the memories 28-1-28-3 from an address selector 30. Thus, each color picture is stored respectively to the memories 28-1-28-3. |
