PURPOSE:To enable three members to be sealed in one body at the same time by establishing the first and the second panel portions and a funnel portion at a predetermined positional relation with a state of frit interposed between them and by passing them through a heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:A common heat resistive metal arm 21 of ''U'' letter shape elongated to horizontal direction, for example, is mounted upon a common leg stand 20 made of a heat resistive metal, and a plurality of slant bench stands 22 are disposed in parallel on the horizontally elongated portion of this arm 21. Each slant bench stand 22 is made of a heat resistive metal plate, and mounted to the arm 21 by each mounting plate made of heat resistive metal attached to its back side surface. Each slant bench stand 22 is disposed so that an angle alpha of its front surface 22a to the disposition plane of the leg stand 20 may have predetermined slant of more than 90 degrees. As sealing of the first panel portion 2, the second panel portion 3 and the funnel portion 4 having a neck portion 5 can be performed at the same time by cooperative work of the slant bench stand 22, the supporter 37 of a ring shape and the weight mean 40, handling and sealing operations are very much simplified compared with the case of sealing each portion individually. |
