摘要 The aim is a device for determining coordinates which consists of a grid arrangement and probe and delivers a high efficiency of the measuring arrangement, and in which, in addition, non-sinusoidal forms of the magnetic field of one phase enable a high measurement accuracy, and which, in addition, guarantees effective visibility of the original and, owing to a special edge configuration of the grid arrangement, a high proportion of useful measuring surface with respect to the total surface requirement. According to the invention, this is achieved when along each coordinate axis the grid arrangement has more than two basic structures, known per se, which are uniformly offset with respect to one another in the direction of the coordinate axes, the distance between two adjacent basic structures being produced from the length FB of the meandering period divided by twice the number of the basic structures, and the basic structures are driven by periodic currents, the temporal phase shifts of the currents by means of which the basic structures are driven corresponding to the spatial displacement of the meanders of the basic structures with respect to one another. <IMAGE>
