DEVICE FOR UNLOADING RADIOGRAPHIC CASSETTES IN DAYLIGHT

A device 10 for unloading radiographic cassettes 18 in daylight is disclosed which enables the rapid sequential unloading of said cassettes. Therefore, use is made of an intermediate storage magazine 14 to which the films 24 after unloading are fed at a high speed whereinafter they are dispensed towards a processing apparatus 12 at a speed equal to the one of the processing apparatus. As a consequence, the time necessary to unload a radiographic cassette 18 is substantially reduced, the unloading capacity of the device 10 being tripled when compared with prior art machines.
The device according to the invention may be controlled with the help of a microprocessor.
