PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum injection pressure suited for an operating condition by controlling a control valve with pressure in a pressure feed pump chamber so as to adjust the back pressure, and relatively increasing injection pressure in the low rotation range, while relatively reducing the injection pressure in the high rotation range. CONSTITUTION:As a pressure feed plunger 12 is lowered, the pressure in the pressure feed pump chamber 13 rises. The pre-flow pressure in the pressure feed pump chamber 13 before the main reed 28 of the pressure feed plunger 12 closes a feed port 17, a pressure receiving port 60, and a pressure adjusting port 61, acts on a pressure adjusting chamber 63 through the pressure receiving port 60 and a pressure adjusting passage 62, depressing a nozzle spring seat 64. Thereby, a nozzle spring 54 is deflected increasing the valve opening pressure of a needle valve 51, while a rod 64a approaches the needle valve 51, restricting the amount of the lift of the needle valve 51. |
