<p>PURPOSE:To attain a cassette holder device which does not require the increase of rigidity and is made lightweight easily by providing gears, which are turned with fulcrums as centers, in both sides parts of a cassette holder and providing gears, which engage a pair of gears, on the device body side in a magnetic recording and reproducing device such as a VTR or the like. CONSTITUTION:Holder gears 41 and 42 are provided on both side faces of a cassette holder 23, and gears 33 and 44 which are engaged with these holder gears 41 and 42 are provided. The holder gear 41 is extended downward so that the engagement between the gear 33 and the holder gear 41 is ensured even if the lock of the cassette holder 23 is released and it rises. Two cylinder parts 33a provided near the center of the gear 33 function as guides when a cassette 34 falls. Consequently, not only it is possible to make the device lightweight easily, but also not the conventional unstable design depending upon rigidity but a design of a high certainty where gears are used to operate the device surely is possible.</p> |
