PURPOSE:To cope with the alteration of bankbook specification speedily by reading transaction condition items from marks added to the bankbook, and further discriminating whether the bankbook is printed or not and printing transaction item data. CONSTITUTION:When the bankbook 4 is inserted and conveyed as shown by an arrow A, bar code PM1-PM6 are read by a sensor S2 in order. Then, the decision on whether transaction condition data corresponding to each mark is printed or not is made. When it is decided that the transaction condition data is not printed, the transaction condition code of a mark added thereto is stored in a code storage means. Then, transaction condition data are stored in a transaction condition data storage means while a sorted by transaction condition item codes. Then, data on the transaction condition item codes stored in this transaction condition item code storage means are read out successively and printed by a printing head 3 near marks representing the transaction condition item codes. |
