PURPOSE:To uniformalize the oiliness distribution on the surface of a roll trunk by increasing the inside diameter of a fluid injection inner pipe of the rotary joint of a heating and cooling mechanism and permitting uniform spraying of fluid. CONSTITUTION:The fluid as heating and cooling medium is introduced into an inner pipe 6, passing through a rotary joint 4. The fluid 8 which fills the inner pipe 6 is jetted-out towards the inner wall of a roll from the injection ports 61, 62, ... properly arranged in the part having a large diameter on the trunk part of the roll. The fluid 8 jetted-out is introduced outside a roll assembly, passing through the outside pipe of the rotary joint 4. |
