PURPOSE:To reduce the strip fiber material and the number of steps by setting the reciprocating number of a traverser per one revolution of a mandrel when winding a strip fiber on the mandrel to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:To wind a strip fiber such as a yarn or tape on a mandrel having a slope, the winding angle of the fiber is set in a range of 40-70 deg. without change, and the ratio of the feeding speed of a traverse to the rotating speed of the mandrel, i.e., the ratio (n) of reciprocating number of the traverser to one resolution of the mandrel is set to n=(reciprocating number of traverser)/(one revolution of mandrel)=2-4. In this manner, the necessary amount of the fiber can be reduced, and the winding time can be shortened, thereby reducing the number of steps. |
