PURPOSE:To smoothly rotate and to improve the efficiency by forming specific number of slots perpendicularly crossing at the center on the end faces of cylinders, dividing the end face into the specific number, forming the inner or outer peripheral surfaces of the divided end faces widely as compared with the adjacent end faces at every other face, thereby reducing torque ripple. CONSTITUTION:Slots 34 perpendicularly crossing to a hole 33 formed at the center of the end face 32 of a cylinder 31 made of a ferromagnetic material are divided, for example, into 6 to be divided into 6 at an equal interval. The inner peripheral surfaces 35 of the slots 34 of the divided end faces 32 are formed widely at every other face, and exciting coils 30 are wound in the slots 34. A flat circular ferrite magnet is, for example, contacted with the divided end faces 32 of the magnetizing yoke 29 formed as described above, and a 6-pole field magnet 24' having N- and S-poles for driving at an equal interval is obtained by flowing a current through the coils 30, and the inner periphery 36 of the S-pole is magnetized at an angle width narrower than the inner periphery 37 of the N- pole. |
