PURPOSE:To provide a titled device capable of connecting a roll chock and a shifting device together and releasing the connection by a simple mechanism by providing a fixed guide and a movable guide parallelly to a roll axis to the housing side and transferring freely a slider between both guides. CONSTITUTION:Arms 16 are projected parallelly to the axis of a work roll 6 from a roll chock 15. Fixed guides 19 and movable guides 20 are respectively provided to the surfaces located oppositely to the arms 16 of a housing 11. The movable guide 20 is fixed to an attaching piece 21 embedded freely slidably in the arm 16. Further, a slider 27 having projecting parts 25, 26 is fitted to the guide 20 to tranfer freely between the guides 19 and 20 when the guide 20 is pushed out by a connection-releasing cylinder 23. By this mechanism, the slider 27 is perfectly transferred to the guide 20 at the time of exchanging the rolls 6, which can be taken out and in by the cylinder 23. |
