PURPOSE:To transmit the injected light of one optional light guide to all extraction guides and to simplify network constitution by arraying plural light guides for optical injection and optical extraction in parallel, and converging both guides to one point according to injection and extraction. CONSTITUTION:Plural light guides 1 are arrayed in parallel for optical injection X and for extraction Y, and both guides X and Y are converged to one point. Convergence destinations XIN and YOUT are at both terminals of a repeating amplifier 2 and an extremely fine light signal is amplified and outputted. Light signals when injected from the light guides for injection X propagates as shown by dotted-line arrows and converge to one point (convergence destination XIN of optical repeating amplifier 2). Then, they reach the light guides for extraction Y through the light guides 1 after passing through the extraction destination YOUT. |
