PURPOSE:To damp vibration and noise by interposing a soft elastic body between a platen shaft and an intermediate rigid body having a hard elastic body layer in an impact type printer to improve the durabilty of the hard elastic body with respect to impact. CONSTITUTION:A soft elastic cylinder 2 of rubber or the like is interposed between an intermediate rigid cylinder body 3 made of metal or the like to reinfoce an external hard elastic body 4 of a cylnderical platen and a shfat 1. The hard elastic body 4 is reinforced with the intermediate rigid body 3 to increase the deformation resistance to impact with a print head 5 thereby improving the duarability. The soft elastic body 2 absorbs vibration and noise in the impact to improve the quietness. |
