The invention relates to a cost-effective and robust coupling arrangement between an electrooptical and/or optoelectric semiconductor component, e.g. a laser or a photodiode, and an optical fibre, e.g. a graded-index or monomode optical fibre. The coupling arrangement consists of a carrier having impressed, trench-shaped depressions for self-adjusting accommodation of the optical fibre, and a sink on which at least the semiconductor component is mounted. Independent subassemblies which can be tested in a cost-effective way are thereby produced. |
