In a jointing method particularly useful for office furniture, a first elongate tubular member (11) and a second elongate tubular member (12) are joined together at right angles by forming a transverse slot (13) in the first member (11) and forming transverse bores (15) in the second member (12), engaging a portion of the wall of the second member (12) at one end thereof in the slot (13) and engaging a peg (17) in the bores (15), the peg (17) extending within the bore of the first member (11) and having a flat (17a) thereon which lies against the wall of the bore. <IMAGE> |
