PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the titled recorder, by a method wherein an operation for separating and feeding a recording sheet and an operation for rewinding a transfer paper are conducted by reversely rotating a driving motor, and sub-scanning feeding of the recording sheet and the transfer sheet is conducted by forwardly rotating the motor. CONSTITUTION:A separating roller 12 as the first driving body, a platen roller 6 as the second driving body, a guide roller 5 and a spool 7 are driven by a single motor 15 which can be rotated forwardly and reversely. Feeding of the transfer sheet 2 and the recording sheet 9 in the sub-scanning direction by the platen roller 6 is effected by rotating the roller 6 counterclockwise, and the rotation of the motor 15 in this case is referred to as forward rotation. When the motor 15 is rotated reversely, the platen roller 6 and the separating roller 12 are rotated in the opposite direction, namely, clockwise. In this case, the guide roller 5 and the spool 7 are not rotated because of the functions of one-direction clutches 16-1, 16-2, and they serves as a load against the movement of the transfer sheet 2 being rewound by the platen roller 6. |
