PURPOSE:The titled anion exchange membrane of excellent durability, containing a perfluorocarbon polymer as the main chain and a quaternary ammonium group as an exchange group. CONSTITUTION:A tubular anion exchange membrane containing a perfluorocarbon polymer as the main chain represented by, for example, formula I (wherein X is F or CF3, Y is a group containing a quaternary ammonium group, l is 0 or 1-5, m is 0 or 1, n is 1 or 2-5, and p/q=2-16) and a quaternary ammonium group as an exchange group. Because the main chain consists of a perfluorocarbon polymer, the anion exchange membrane can be improved markedly in durability. Because it is tubular, it can be used as a diaphragm for an organic electrolytic reaction, or a dialysis membrane to which conventional anion exchange membranes are not applicable.
