PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient magnetic flux even when the counter area between an armature and a yoke is small by a method in which a core is set on the peripheral side of the fulcrum of the yoke and the plate armature and a magnetic body to form side magnetic pathway is provided between both sides of the armature and the yoke. CONSTITUTION:A core 20 is set on the peripheral side of the fulcrum 32 of a yoke 17 and an armature 23 to make wiring and assembling operations easier. By using the armature 23 of a plate form, the armature and its fulcrum structure are simplified. A magnetic body 26 to form side magnetic pathway is provided between both sides of the armature 23 and the yoke 17 to make the magnetic flux sufficiently satisfactory and to make the counter area between the armature and the yoke smaller. Therefore, the distance from the fulcrum of the armature to a needle 28 can be increased larger than the distance from the center of the core 20 to the armature fulcrum, the speed of printing can be increased by lessening the equivalent mass of the armature, and greater attraction force can be obtained by making the air gap smaller. |
