PURPOSE:To certainly fix and hold the operation shaft of a fluid cylinder by inserting a rod which is installed at the edge of a piston and projects from a cylinder body into a cylindrical member, so as to be fitted tightly. CONSTITUTION:A rod 9 is installed so as to be projected, in the vicinity of a slidable edge, from the cover member 4 of a cylinder body by moving a piston 5 in slidable ways to the right slidable edge. A cylindrical member 10 is a cylinder into which the rod 9 is inserted tightly and has holding members 11 and 12 at both edges and is integrally connected with the cover member 14 of the cylinder body by a plurality of tie rods 13. Said cylindrical member 10 is constituted so as to expand in the radial direction to loosen the tightening for the rod 9 when the pressurized fluid is introduced into the gap 14 formed from the outer cover of the rod 9.
