PURPOSE:To certainly detect dozing-drive by judging dozing-drive when the nonsteered state continues for a certain time or more and steering in one direction is performed and nonsteered state continues again for a certain time or more. CONSTITUTION:The captioned apparatus is equipped with a steering detecting means 10 for detecting the steering angle and the steering direction by a steering sensor, and if the steering angle detected by the means 10 is within a prescribed angle or less for a certain time (e.g., 5sec) or more, a nonsteering judging means 11 judges nonsteered state, while the steering angle detected is over a certain angle or more, a steering judging means 12 judges nonsteered state. When nonsteered state continues for a certain time or more, and steering in one direction is performed, and nonsteered state continues again for a certain time or more, a dozing-drive judging means 13 judges dozing drive, and an alarm means 14 is operated to awake a driver from doze. |
