PURPOSE:To certainly detect the dozing-drive state by judging dozing-drive when the ratio of the accumulated product of the nonsteering time in a set time set at each steering over a certain angle exceeds a certain value. CONSTITUTION:The captioned apparatus is equipped with a steering detecting means 10 for detecting steering angle and steering direction by a steering sensor, and the outputs of the means 10 are input into a time setting means 11 and a nonsteering-time accumulating means 12. Said time setting means 11 sets a certain time after the input of steering pulses, and the nonsteering-time accumulating means 12 discriminates the nonsteering time and accumulates said times. The outputs of the both means 11 and 12 are input into a ratio judging means 13, and the ratio of the nonsteering time accumulated within a certain time set by the time setting means 11 is calculated. When the ratio exceeds a certain value, dozing-drive is judged, and an alarm means 14 is operated to awake a driver from doze. |
