PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous generation of alarm by judging dozing-drive when nonsteered state continues at least for a certain time and steering over a prescribed angle in one direction is performed and then a prescribed dozing-drive pattern is detected, and then operating an alarm means. CONSTITUTION:The captioned apparatus is equipped with a steering detecting means 10 for detecting the execution of steering and the direction of steering by a steering sensor and judges the nonsteered state in a nonsteered-state judging means 11 on the basis of the output of the means 10. The steering in one direction is judged by a unidirectional steering judging means 12 on the basis of the output of the steering detecting means 10. If the nonsteered state continues at least for a certain time, and the steering over a prescribed angle in one direction is performed, and then a prescribed dozing-drive pattern is detected, dozing-drive is judged by a dozing-drive judging means 13. When dozing-drive is judged, an alarm means 14 is operated, and a driver is awaked from doze. |
