CONSTITUTION:An intermetallic compound consisting of, by weight, 22-28% R (R is one or more kinds of rare earth elements), 2-10% Cu, 6-35% T (T is one or more among Fe, Ni, Mn and Cr), 0.5-6% M (M is one or more among Zr, Ti, Hf, Nb, V and Ta), and the balance essentially Co is subjected to soln. heat treatment. After finishing quenching, the compound is repeatedly aged twice or more by cooling from 750-950 deg.C to <=700 deg.C. Thus, the magnetic characteristics such as coercive force, residual magnetic flux density, energy product, squareness ratio and magnetizability are improved. |
