PURPOSE:An oral cavity composition such as toothpaste, etc., showing high inhibitory effect on plasmin in prevention and relief of pyorrhea alveolaris, obtained by using sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as a viscous material, blending it stably with aprotinin as a drug. CONSTITUTION:In preparing an oral cavity composition stably blended with aprotinin useful as a drug for preventing and relieving chronic periodontitis, 0.5-3wt%, preferably 1.0-2.0wt% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (properly having >=0.4, preferably >=0.7 degree of substitution of OCH2COONa with respect to especially solubility in water) as a binder based on total amount of the oral cavity composition, and 0.0001-1.0wt%, preferably 0.001-0.1wt% aprotinin as a drug based on total amount of the oral cavity composition are blended with other components.
