PURPOSE:To form the mounting table of a device required for the control of an electronic exchange based on a mounting table by collecting mounting information representing mounting/non-mounting from each device constituting the electronic exchange and storing the information to the mounting table in a scanner. CONSTITUTION:Trunks 51-58 and 61-68 are connected to the scanner 8 via mounting information lines 71, 72, any potential is not transmitted to the scanner 8 as the mounting information in case of non-mounting and a prescribed potential (e.g., ground potential) is given to the scanner 8 as the mounting information when mounted. The mounting table producing section 81 in the scanner 8 sets a bit in the mounting table 82 corresponding to the trunks 51-54 and 65-68 where the mounting information is detected to logical value 1, and sets the bit in the mounting table 82 corresponding to the trunks 52-58 and 61-64 where no mounting information is detected to logical value 0. Thus the mounting information of the trunks 51-58 and 61-68 in the electronic exchange is collected in the mounting table 82, and a device mounting table producing section 32 forms a device mounting table 91 in a main memory 91 by referencing the mounting table 82. |
