The invention relates to a roofing element in the form of an insulating panel of rigid polyurethane foam with integral skin, and its manufacture. The method comprises the following stages : - injection into a strong inclined mould 2, comprising an imprint of silicone elastomer 3, of a mixture producing a polyurethane foam; - closing of the mould by means of a shutter; - reaction and expansion of the foam; - removal of the panel from the mould by opening the latter. <IMAGE>
