Installation for the centrifugal spinning of fibrous or porous materials, equipped with at least one means 56 for holding at least one ring of stacks, capable of giving said stacks a high resistance to the centrifugal spinning force and of preventing their deformation. Said installation comprises, furthermore, means making it possible to carry out drying at the same time as spinning, comprising means 44, 45 for introducing and circulating gaseous drying fluid in the installation, means 50 for orienting the direction of circulation of said fluid and means 40, 41, 42, 43 ensuring the sealing of the installation, which cooperate with the means 50 for orienting the direction of circulation of the drying fluid, in order to allow said fluid to circulate in the spinning installation respectively during the centrifugal rotation and during the standstill of said installation. The invention is used for the spinning and spin drying of fibrous or porous materials. <IMAGE>
