PURPOSE:To simplify the processing circuit by arranging image sensor chips in zigzag where the transfer direction of a charge transfer section is made different from each other. CONSTITUTION:A board 11, a photoelectric converting array 12, a charge storage section 13, a gate 14 and a charge transfer section 15 are provided. Two kinds of image sensor chips 1a, 1b have the srructure of symmetry of mirror image and have opposite transfer directions to each other. Then, they are arranged on the board so that the photoelectric converting element array 12 of the two image sensor chips 1a, 1b is directed inward. Thus, the direction of reading scanning is made identical and the processing circuit is simplified. |
