PURPOSE:To strengthen the joint of an underground continuous wall between panels by introducing a prestress between panels formed by placement of concrete. CONSTITUTION:An iron bar cage 12 with sheaths set in a multi-stage for preceding panels is set in vertical trenches provided at a given interval for the preceding panels. Concrete is placed between partition plates 14a to form a preceding panel 22. A vertical trench 24 for the following panel is excavated, an iron bar cage with sheaths 20b set in a multi-stage for the following panel is set in the vertical trench 24, and concrete is placed to form a following panel 28. The inside ground surrounded by the continuous wall is excavated until the ends of the sheaths 20a and 20b are exposed, the filler inside is removed, and steel materials are penetrated into the sheaths 20a and 20b and tensed to introduced a prestress into the adjacent panels 22 and 28. |
