PURPOSE:To display efficiently data on a CRT, by providing a parallel-serial converter in a display control part and providing a serial-parallel converter in a keyboard part and connecting them with one data line and sending a display device driving signal from the display control part to the keyboard part in serial. CONSTITUTION:A parallel-serial converter 48 is connected to an output data register 45, and a line driver 49 is connected to the converter 48. A serial-parallel converter 50 is connected to an input data register 46, and a line receiver 51 is connected to the converter 50. Meanwhile, a line receiver 71 which receives serial output data from the driver 49 is provided in a keyboard part 70, and its output is subjected to serial-parallel conversion by a serial-parallel converter 72 and is set to a data register 73, and its parallel output is outputted to an LED75 and a buzzer 76. The signal from a key switch matrix 77 in the keyboard part 70 is converted to a key-in signal by an encoder 78 and is subjected to parallel- serial conversion by a parallel-serial converter 79 and reaches the serial-parallel converter 50 in a control part 40 from a line driver 80 and is set as a parallel key signal to the register 46.
